Blues & Brews ….. is one of Telluride's most POPULAR weekends.. Escape the heat and enjoy this weekend of Music, Beer & LOTS of FUN. Golf, hike, bike, fish, horesback ride, take a jeep tour or just RELAX. The town park hosts a weekend of various (big name) music acts, while GREAT parties and tastings of ALL kinds of beers from various areas. Main Street is ALIVE all weekend long (if you can last that late). Many years we get lucky and the leaves are in FULL color as the mountains get their first dusting of snow. Don't forget yur camera. Telluride: Nestled in a box canyon surrounded by majestic, 13,000-foot peaks of the San Juan Mountains, the Town of Telluride is filled with colorful legends, over a century of history and Rocky Mountain spirit. Just six blocks wide and twelve blocks long, the National Historic District is a window into the town’s illustrious past and a showcase of spirited individualism and community pride. It is a delight to explore, with its colorful Victorian homes, clapboard storefronts, boutiques, art galleries, bookstores, gourmet restaurants, historic buildings and much more. The heartbeat of an interesting past lives on in Telluride’s present …. and its future.
Telluride and the Mountain Village are linked by a spectacular 13-minute ride on the FREE gondola, making it easy to enjoy both worlds without ever getting in the car. This popular scenic attraction provides breathtaking views and free access to hiking and biking trails. Both the town and Mountain Village sit at the edge of the slopes and lifts of the ski mountain.
